Getting to the Show

Coming from the South

I-270 to Exit 10 and 11. Sign says Montgomery Village Avenue, MD route 124. BUT DO NOT take Exit 10 on the frontage road (Clopper Road). DO take second right exit 11. There is a traffic signal light at the bottom of the ramp. You can only go right here.

At the next traffic light turn right onto MD route 355 (Frederick Avenue). There is a Sam’s Club on the right at that corner. Pass the traffic light where there is a Burlington Coat Factory and Toys-R-Us on the right. Pass the light at Odenthal where there is a gasoline station on the right, and a MacDonald's on the left.

Turn right at Dalamar Street where there is a garden store and Golden Bull Restaurant and a sign for the Fairgrounds on the right. (There is a Popeye’s chicken on the left).

Enter the fairgrounds through the gate and bear half left. The show is in the big white (4H) or Commercial building #6 directly ahead. Park free anywhere except where parking is not allowed (No Parking in fire lanes or show buildings).

[Alternate in case Dalamar entrance is closed: At the third traffic light, just beyond IHOP, Midas Mufflers, and CarQuest Auto Store, turn right onto Chestnut Street. Pass one traffic signal. Just after the Standard Supplies store on the right and just before the railroad tracks, turn right into the fairgrounds. Follow the signs to the building where the show takes place ( Poplar Ave. and Hickory Ave. )]

Coming from the North

On I270, take exit 11A labeled Town Center and Montgomery Village Ave. and continue as above to MD 355.

Coming by Bus

The preferred bus route is either route 55 or 59. Both originate at Rockville Metro, continue on to the Shady Grove Metro and then pass along Frederick Avenue in front of the fairgrounds. Ask the bus driver about the nearest stop to Dalamar Street.

These buses run Saturdays and Sundays. It is possible to use routes 54, 56, 57, 58, 61, or 62 but they all require a longer walk. R54 could be used to Diamond and Muddy Branch or Russell and Odenthal. R56 stops closest only at Frederick and Montgomery Village Ave. R57 runs on Russell Avenue, R58 goes to Lakeforest Mall, R61 is closest at Muddy Branch and Diamond, and R62 can be used to Odenthal and Frederick Ave.
